QOL features removed and now unplayable :( I have played this game forever. I used to love it! No longer being able to ascend all troops is awful. Well I updated my Chromebook (yes it still has many years of updates) and now I can't even play it because it wants age verification. It works on my phone but not on my Chromebook where I play it. Bye Gems of War, you will be missed...

Pretty great game, my only suggestion is to count current matches when timers hit zero on rescuing pets. You know how frustrating it is to get to the end, the last match, pull off a win by the skin of your teeth, and then TIMES UP! Doesn't count, here's your measly leftovers. It's happened to me twice so I stopped doing the under an hour pet rescues.

I've been playing Gems of War for around a year now. In my opinion this is the best phone game I have ever played. :-) I play it daily and haven't gotten tired of it. They are always adding new challenges, also giving you challenges to use troops you wouldn't probably otherwise choose, which is pretty cool. There's so many good things about this game. :-) Edit: The game isn't what it used to be! It's Pay to Play now! Too hard to get good cards or high level anything! I'm so disappointed!

I love this game! It very much reminds me of the old game I used to play called Puzzle Quest. Very similar. There is lots to do and I love the many varieties of monsters you can collect in your deck to fight on your team. What's also nice is that there is no 'energy' limit for how much/long you can play. So literally, you can play for hours on end without having to wait for a meter to fill of the sorts.
